We are sad to announce that on November 21, 2023, at the age of 91, Richard P. Swenson (Bradford, Vermont), born in Winchester, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Einard Swenson and Florence Swenson (Park). He is survived by: his wife Virginia Swenson (Hoglund); his brother Earl Wessel (Eva) of Capistrano Beach, California; and his children, Carl Swenson, Sr. (Seher) of Palm Bay, FL, Robert Swenson (Melanie) of Fairlee, VT, David Swenson (Elizabeth) of Montpelier, VT, Karen Clements (Frederic) of Newbury, VT and Allen Fuller (Virginia) of Newbury, VT. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service to celebrate Dick's remarkable life will be held on May 11, 2024 at 10AM at Oxbow Cemetery in Newbury Vermont, In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Dick's honor to either the Newbury Fire Department, Newbury, VT, or the Charity Lodge #43 in Bradford, Vt.
