He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Champagne and Ernestine Champagne (Gagnon); his wife Shirley Borowski; his children, Daniel Champagne (Rebecca), Deborah Champagne (Kenneth Costa) of Sunapee, NH and Lisa Champagne of Mexico, ME; his grandchildren, Brianna, Kailey Willette and Christian Champagne; and his sisters, Rollande Garneau, Eliane St and Lucille Molleur. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
