He was predeceased by: his sisters, Virginia Batten and Linda Putney (Roland). He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Jane Bigelow; his children, David Leslie Batten (Charlene), Daniel Scott Batten and Amy Christine Yampanis (Keith); his grandsons, Tyler Bennett (Ellen), Jacob David Batten and Alexander Reid Batten; and his siblings, Mary Alice Batten (Lynette Cash) and Randall Batten (Lori). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
