With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Ashton of Bradford, Vermont, born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on June 8, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Julie Ashton Riedel (Kevin Riedel) of San Antonio, Pamela Ashton of Bradford and Liz Mooy (Jim Mooy) of Santa Barbara, California; his siblings, William Ashton (Ann) of Davenport, Iowa, James Ashton of Fort Worth, Texas. and Janet Ross (Timothy) of Seattle, Washington.; and his parents, Frank Ashton and Edna Wessels Ashton. He was also cherished by his father, uncles, and brothers.
