She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernal C. Stowell and Lila Leatherman (Willis); her husband Edward W. Quain; her daughter Nancy Lavallee; and her siblings, Douglas Stowell, Shirley Dancer, Philip Stowell and Richard Stowell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marilyn Huntington of Maine, Diane Fraley (Anthony Brainerd) of Bradford, VT and Pamela Davis (Thomas Stearns) of Chelsea, VT. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
