Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Carroll Dana Bean of Bradford, Vermont, who passed away at the age of 82, on January 23, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Bean and Beatrice Huntington Bean; his wife Anita Louise Martin; and his siblings, Merton Bean, Earl Bean and Charlotte Bishop.

He is survived by: his pet Bradford; his child Marnita Leach (Duane Leach); his grandsons, Steven Leach and Dr. Nick Leach-Nadeau; his great grandchild Andrew Bean (Ellen Vause); his grandchildren, Kristina Bean, Navy, Ethan Bean (Jocelyn Bean), Rodney Bean (Susan Bean) and Seth Bean (Jessica Bean); his great grandchildren, Isaiah Taylor, Connor Bean (Mary Bean), Daniel Bean, Haleleigh Bean, Wyatt Bean and Avery Bean; and his siblings, Penny Hodge, Shirley Stever and John Bean. He is also survived by many in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel (487 Furnace Rd, Randolph Center, VT 05061).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the VAE Scholarship Fund in the name of Carroll "Diddy" Bean.
