She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles John Klayer and Christine Elizabeth Love; her husband James Briggs; her siblings, John Klayer and Patricia Baumguard; her children, Robert Murphy and Patricia Murphy; her brother Charles Klayer; her sisters-in-law, Laurie and Lene; her grandchildren, Evan, Gage, Cheri, Jessica, Wyatt and Gabe; and her great grandchildren, Tyler, Jayden, Shaylynn, Jordan, Amberlynn, Ryker and Amellia. She was also cherished by her many nieces and nephews.
