He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis C. Whitaker and Laura Marsh Whitaker; his wife Reta Blake; his sons, David, Harry and Tracy; and his siblings, Wendall, Dorothy, Gerald, Vernon, Glenna, Florence and Phyllis.
He is survived by: his sons, Reginald (Heather) of Madill, Willis (Janet Louise) of Stockbridge and Joe (Lynn) of Barre; his daughters-in-law, Janet Rose of Stockbridge and Carole of Lewes, DE.; his grandchildren, Kristofer (Angela), Joshua (Meghan), Lily, Michael (Crystal), Hunter, Hilary (Ian), Ryan, Levi, Jacob, Jaylyn (Marc), Madison and Mark Whitaker; and his great grandchildren, Sierra, Emmaleigh, Anna Kate, Abilene, Eva, Brody, Kinzley and Wren.
Donations in his memory may be made to one of Willis' favorite charities, Shriner's Hospital for Children, or Wounded Warriors.
