With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harriett Purinton Brown (Bethel, Vermont), born in Buels Gore, Vermont, who passed away on July 29, 2019 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Harriett Purinton Brown to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Purinton and Lucy Purinton (Tucker); her siblings, Ransom Purinton, Harold Purinton (Sylvia), Luther Purinton and Amie Blanchard; and her half-siblings, Elihu, Arland, Norman Purinton and Lillian Purinton Blow.

She is survived by: her daughter Luthera Ruth Brown (Pat); her grandson Michael (Jill Rainville); her great grandchildren, Adam and Andrew Rainville; her granddaughter Barbara Rainville; her sister-in-law Beverly Brown of Lincoln; her sister Adah Blanchard of Millbridge, ME; her close friend Donna Rose; and also, Braham, Ocean and Paula Hubbell. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
