We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2022, at the age of 85, Gerry June Rhoades of Bethel, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eino Haikara and Ellen Haikara (Hazard); and her grandson Taite Roy. She is survived by: her friends, Rachel Abbott (Trask) and Marge Turner (Dorman); her husband Benjamin Rhoades; her sister Janet Martel of St. Albans; her children, Mike (Dar Rhoades), Mary (Dave Roy), Mark (Deb Rhoades), Monte (Lynn Rhoades), Martin (Dianna Rhoades), Marlin Rhoades, Marjorie (Bob Edmunds), Maureen (Tim Burnham) and Mitch (Nicole Rhoades); and her grandchildren, Jessica, Stephanie, Zac, Tara, Talia, Chelsey, Ethan, Daniel, Robert, Kaitlin, Lindsay, Ashly, Cassie, Lexie, Ben and Gabby. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative and Hospice Care.
