He was predeceased by: his sisters, Eleen Edmunds (Arden Jr.), Eunice Chadwick (Frank), Jane Brooks (Wesley) and Eloise Thompson (Maurice); his sons, Scott (Patty) and David Charles Reed; his grandson Isaac Ferry; and his great grandchildren, Violet Pontoski and Arianna Dunham.
He is survived by: his sister Bernice Amelia Martin (Norman); his former spouse Madelean Dunn; his children, Cheryl Ferry (David), Jeffrey and Donna; his wife Dorothy Reed (Lake); his children, Sharon Healey (Kurt), Susan Reed-Neumann (Matthias), Michelle Cole, Michael Manning (Amy), Terry Manning, Lisa Manning Floyd (Jamie) and Crystal Farnsworth Spear (Chris); and also, Tom, Susan Rule, Caitlin and Josie. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and his nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers donations in John's honor may be made to the Bethel Lympus Church, ℅ Lisa Floyd Treasurer (137 Pleasant St. Bethel, VT 05032) or Potter's Angels Rescue, which is where their little dog, Buster, who has brought John tremendous joy over the past 4 years, was rescued from.
