With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Colleen Alta Hoard of Benson, Vermont, born in Bennington, Vermont, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 30, 2024 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Colleen Alta shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Colleen Alta farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Brown and Sharon Brown Sr. (Hewes). She is survived by: her husband Lance E. Hoard; her daughter Tegan; and her daughter-in-law Susan of Benson. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles cousins, nieces and nephews.
