It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William W. Toftness in Bennington, Vermont, who passed away on March 30, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry B. Toftness and Sara Jane Toftness (Martin). He is survived by: his wife Pamela J. Toftness of Bennington; his daughters, Sara Webster (Robert) of Bennington, Cynthia Hutchins (Aaron) of Fair Haven and Kattie Johnson (Jonathan) of Georgia, VT.; his grandchildren, Alyson, Damien, Aylin Webster, Rose, Cullen, Aisling Hutchins, Maverick, Cameron, Dezarae and Samantha Johnson; his brother Bartlett Toftness (Cynthia) of Wallingford, CT; his stepbrother Don Connelly of Bennington, VT; and his friend Romeo Gagne of Seymour, CT.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
