She is survived by: her daughters, Katherine Post (Katy) and Allison LaFountain (Tim); her grandsons, Scott LaFountain (Taija) and Paul LaFountain; her great grandchildren, Carter of Bennington, Jaxson LaFountain of Bennington and Trent Morse of Bennington; and her siblings, Rick (Joan) of Bennington, Mike (Deb) of Palm Bay, FL, Kitty Lewis (Gary) of Pownal, Ron (Jan) of Topsham, ME., Bob of Bennington, Joe (Stacey) of Lyndonville, VT, Greg (Lori) of Bennington, Wendy Ballou (Dave) of Bennington, John (Chris) of Rochester, NY. and Jim (Laurie) of Bennington.
A favorite pastime when not feeling so well and 'covid bound' was to go for a daytime ride and take Allison or Paul with her, or just a long ride alone to enjoy beautiful scenery we are blessed with.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the (CCCC) Cancer Center Community Crusaders as they have helped Val in her time of need.
