She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Gardner and Judith Gardner (Inman) of Bennington Two. She is survived by: her husband William George Bates of Shushan, NY.; her children, Ashley Nicole O'Dell (Timothy Winchell) of Pownal, VT, Zachary Joseph Bates of Salem, NY and Morgan Marie Bates of Eagle Bridge, NY.; her granddaughter Layla Anne Winchell of Pownal; and her siblings, Robert Gardner (Josie) of Berlin, NY, Shawn Gardner (Lexie) of Bennington and Heidi Gardner (Bob) of New Hampshire. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
