He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Gauthier and Margaret Theresa Gauthier (Danforth); and his brothers, Robert Gauthier, David Gauthier and Lawrence Gauthier.
He is survived by: his sisters, Sandra Sinclair, Linda Knapp, Nancy Hathaway and Diann Ball. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
