It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Callanan (Bennington, Vermont), born in North Adams, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 24, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Pugliese and Cecelia Pugliese (Galipeau); her son Michael Anthony "Tony" Callanan of Bennington; and her siblings, Phillip Pugliese, Joan George and Norma Fletcher.
She is survived by: her spouse Niles Callanan; her children, Allison King (Terry) of Bennington, Leslie Mahar (Michael) of Bennington, Kevin Callanan (Bonnie) of Bennington, Christopher Callanan (Lisa) of Bennington, Cathleen Callanan (William) of Bennington, Niles Callanan (Sarah) of Bennington and Laura Callanan of Bennington; her pet Bella; and her siblings, Robert Pugliese and Mary Lesperance. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
