She was predeceased by: her father Bruce Matteson; her close friend Ulysses Ivey II; and her son Ulysses Ivey III. She is survived by: her mother Janet Brooks (Shepherd); her daughters, Naomi, Natalie, Natasha and Narissa Ivey; and her siblings, Kaleb Matteson (Ashley) and Celena Richter (Robert).
