With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald James Higgins (Bennington, Vermont), who passed away on September 6, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. Higgins and Josephine Higgins (Racicot); his wife Maureen Simon; and his brothers, Joseph and Alan Higgins.

He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Sandquist (John Sandquist Jr.) of Bennington and Timothy Higgins (Karen) of Kingston, N. H.; his granddaughter Tia Briere (Jason West) of Bennington; his great grandchild Jameson West; his siblings, Daniel Higgins of Bennington and Mary Ellen Dupuis (Larry) of Bennington; and his sister-in-law Mary Chalifoux of Cape Cod, MA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
