He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Prouty and Lura Prouty Sr. (Oldham); his siblings, Larry, Lura and Matthew Scott Prouty; and his grandchildren, Dustin Richards and Mary Elizabeth Prouty.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Prouty (Barber); his children, Michael Prouty (Danean), Jason Prouty Sr. (Tabatha), Jonathan (Robyn Prouty), Kris (Joe Bartha Sr.), Lori (Rick Mahaffey), Misty (Greg Lambert) and Abby Barber (Helen Prouty) of Bennington; his grandchildren, Christie Richards, Tiffany Richards, Raymond, Ashley Prouty, Danny Lehto, Dakota Prouty, Cheyenne Hawley, Jaylyn Prouty, Zachary, Santana Howard, Ethan Howard, Samantha Howard, Gage Prouty, Piper Prouty, Jacob, Alyssa Webster, Jeremiah, Michaela Webster, Hannah Webster and Jared Lambert; his brother Thomas (Rita Prouty); and his sister-in-law Pamela Prouty of Bennington. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
