She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood A. Russell and Verna Russell (Ely); her grandson Justin Surdam; and her siblings, Dorothy Plog, Mary Grover and Francis Ely.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas "Pete" Cornell; her daughters, Susan Buck (Eldon) and Linda Surdam (Richard); and her siblings, Patricia Lake, Nancy West and Elwood Russell Jr.. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St Peter's Episcopal Church (200 Pleasant St, Bennington, VT 05201).
