He was predeceased by: his parents, William Longtin and Pauline Longtin; his former wives, Victoria Davis and Joanie; his wife Marjorie (Russel); and his daughter Kelly.

He is survived by: his children, Shane Carpenter (Melissa), Jay Carpenter (Anna) and Sandra Fortune (Denny); his grandchildren, April, Cody, Jamie, Courtney, Madeline of Christopher, JR and Lacey; and his great grandchildren, Michael (Elizabeth), Hailey, Blake and Leah.
