Nan Mears Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nan Mears (Bennington, Vermont), who passed away on April 23, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Chapman and Catherine Chapman (Coyne); her children, Debra Stratton, Peter and Scott Mears; and her siblings, Robert, Thomas, Wells Chapman and Jean LaFlamme.
She is survived by: her son Michael Mears (Melissa) of Bennington; her grandchildren, Nigel Mears (Tom), Rachel Atwood (Kevin), Samantha Adkins (Eli), Timothy and Tighe Stratton (Kendra); and her great grandchildren, Emme and Tatum Stratton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
