Mary Marguerite Thurber Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2023, at the age of 93, Mary Marguerite Thurber of Bennington, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Hagadorn and Elizabeth Hagadorn (Quackenbush); her siblings, Alfred, Lena, Andrew and Julia; and her husband Frank Edward Thurber.
She is survived by: her daughter Judy Mattison; her grandchildren, Amanda, Michael Tifft of Shaftsbury, Jeffrey and Lizzy Mattison (Ellisa) of Pownal; and her great grandchildren, Jackie, Jaxson, Justin, Deklen, Milie and d'Artagnan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Contributions in memory of Mary may be made to Cambridge Valley Rescue Squad or the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad, through the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street in Hoosick Falls, NY, who are handling the arrangements.
