With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorna Cole (Bennington, Vermont), born in New Rochelle, New York, who passed away on May 28, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis K. Bass and Dorothy Bass (Aker); and her sisters, Muriel Jacobs and Gwendolyn Bishop. She is survived by: her husband Charles S. Cole of North Bennington; her children, John Cole (Sue) of Rio Verde, Arizona. and Jill Peterson (Bruce) of Leland; her grandchildren, Kristy Gaul (Greg), John Cole (Wendy), Carrie Peterson and Christopher Peterson (Kate); and her great grandchildren, Xander, Violet and Rowan Gaul. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
