He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald J. Estes and Gertrude Elizabeth Estes (Coyne); his wife Nancy Bacon; and his nephew Joshua Michael Estes. He is survived by: his children, Jessica Ann King (Alex) of Bennington, VT and Jacob James Estes of Bennington; his grandson Desmond Maximus King; and his siblings, Deborah Knapp, Sr. (Peter) of North Bennington, VT, Mark Estes (Lori Verschoor) of Sarasota, FL, Jeff (Maria Paz LaPorte) of Hoosick Falls, NY and Poultney. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
