He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Hayes (Jay) and Beatrice Hayes (Gebo); and his brother Richard Hayes. He is survived by: his significant other Linda Davis; his children, Jacquelyn T. Myers (John) of Shaftsbury, Jessica T. Ward (Jeff) of Saratoga and Joseph T. Hayes (Angela) of Bennington; his brother Alan Hayes of Yonkers; his grandchildren, Jacob Barney (Megan) of Pownal, Justin Siskavich (Samantha) of Saratoga, Corbyn Hayes, Lauren Cinelli (Tyler) of Bennington, Desiree Myers (Alex) of Troy, NY, Carlee Hayes of Bennington, Ashley Hayes of Bennington and Blake Hayes of Bennington; his pet Hogan; and his daughters, Heidi Young of Shaftsbury, Katina Hamilton of Bennington, Emma Zeininger of Pittsfield, MA, Samantha Hamilton of Bennington and Chris Davis (John) of Bennington.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the VFW (137 North St, Bennington, VT 05201).
