With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John L. LaFountain of Bennington, Vermont, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, John LaFountain and Marjorie LaFountain (Bacon); his wife Josephine Capen LaFountain; his daughter Maryann Sinteff; and his siblings, Jeannette Rousseau, Dorothy Kelly, Judy Briggs, Joanne LaFountain and David LaFountain.
He is survived by: his sons, John LaFountain (Robin) of North Bennington, Chad LaFountain of White Creek and Nathan LaFountain of North Bennington; and his siblings, Paul LaFountain (Sue) of Bennington, Jean LaFountain of Bennington, Marie West of North Bennington, Shirley Boisvert of Cambridge and Rosemary Lillie of Shaftsbury. He is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
