He is survived by: his wife Jean Clayton (Thomas) of North Bennington; his children, Timothy Clayton (Christine) of Virginia, Elaine Clayton of North Bennington, Jerold Clayton, Jr. of Islip Terrace, NY, Denise Zimmer (Jonathan) of Outer Banks, NC and Steve Clayton (Lauren) of Hoosick; and his grandchildren, Heather, Amanda, Briana, Gabriel, Jonathan, Gwen, Todd, Macinley and Sean. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
