Janet C. Fabricius Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet C. Fabricius of Bennington, Vermont, born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, R. Alton Pitcher and Marion Pitcher (Gould); and her husband Dr. Richard Fabricius. She is survived by: her children, Col. David Fabricius (Donna) of Pawlet, VT, Stephen Fabricius (Lisa) of South Portland and Carrie Fabricius (Derek Hurley) of Bennington; her brother Col. Rudolph Pitcher (Connie) of Huntsville, AL; and her grandchildren, Dr. Jackie Fabricius and Connor Tilley.
She was very active in her community as a volunteer and a Grey Lady at SVMC, the Red Cross and RSVP and very active at the Second Congregational Church which included roles as secretary, Deacon, treasurer and organized the Snowball Bazaar.
