He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Welch Sr. and Nellie May Welch (Hallsworth). He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Welch of Bennington; his daughter Lisa Welch-Powers (Wayne) of Bennington; his grandchildren, Penny Coffey (Leonard) of Canton, NY., Christopher Welch (Amanda) of Pownal, VT, Nellie Nicholas (David) of North Adams, MA. and Megan Boyer (Alex) of Bennington; his brother-in-law Benjamin Rodick of Unionville, CT.; and his half-siblings, Michael Welch, Robin Welch of Rensselaer, NY., Debi Lesley and Kathy Tyrell of Ballston Spa, NY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
