He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Kenyon and Marie Kenyon (Colegrove); and his brother Robert Kenyon. He is survived by: his former wife Bernadette Sausville; his wife Bernadette "Bunnie" Kenyon of Bennington; his daughters, Joleyne Kenyon (John Masi Jr) of Shaftsbury and Kendra Stratton (Tighe) of Bennington; and his grandchildren, Tatum and Emme Stratton of Bennington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

If friends desire contributions in memory of James F. Kenyon may be made to either Saint Jude's Children's Hospital or the Southwestern Vermont Regional Cancer Center through the office of the Mahar and Son Funeral Home 628 Main St. Bennington, VT 05201.
