She was predeceased by: her parents, Erich Strohschein and Adeline Strohschein (Selent); her sister Rosa Osgood (Strohschein); her brothers-in-law, Armand Osgood, Karl Heintz Sante and Gene Cassidy; and her mother-in-law Dot Colbath.
She is survived by: her husband Keith Colbath of Bennington, Vermont; her son Jeremiah Colbath (Christy); her siblings, George Strohschein (Lorna) of Akron, Carl Strohschein (Marilyn) of Reno, Nevada, Wilhelmine Sante of Quebec and Liesel Miller (Cecil) of Redlands, California.; her granddaughter Adelyn Colbath; her father-in-law Alfred Colbath; and her nieces and nephews, Stephan Sante (Genevieve), Sylvia Gilchrist (Chris), Benjamin Sante (Lisa), Aura Strohschein, Tamar Osborne (Kirk), Nathan Strohschein, David Osgood, Daniel Osgood, Eric Osgood, Carmen Mercer (Jeff), Morgan Strohschein Graham (Jeffrey), Monica Strohschein, Nicholas Sante, Elizabeth Sante, Marissa Gilchrist, Aaron Gilchrist, Nathaniel Gilchrist, Camilla Sante, Sophia Sante, Jacob Strohschein, Jackson Strohschein, Konrad Osborne, Kaleb Osborne, Elise Mercer and Olivia Mercer.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Community Bible Church (160 Bridges Rd, Williamstown, MA 01267). A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Park Lawn Cemetery South St.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Hertha's memory may be made to Bennington Project Independence.
