He was predeceased by: his parents, William III and Helen E. Freeman III (Batholtz); his daughter Arlene Roya; and his siblings, Caroline Freeman, Arvilla Grenier and William Freeman.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Freeman of Bennington; his daughters, Karen Beaudreau (Francis) of Pownal, VT, Susan Durfee (Allen) of Pownal, VT, Debra Rousseau (Mark) of Bennington, VT, Michelle Peabody (Robert) of Bennington, VT and Paula Roy (Leon) of Springville, ME; and his brothers, Clinton Freeman of Lake Luzerne, NY and Peter A. Freeman of Hoosick, NY. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mahar Funeral Home and Cremation Services (628 Main St, Bennington, VT 05201). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
