It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Persis (Slade) Prouty (Bennington, Vermont), born in East Jamaica, Vermont, who passed away on April 28, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Prouty; her parents, Chester Slade and Bertha Slade (Sage); her daughter Jeanne; her son-in-law Timothy Flynn; and her siblings, Chester Slade, Flora Lowe and Alfred Slade.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Prouty of Bennington and Janice Rowe (Stanley) of Florida; her sisters-in-law, Ruth Slade and Clara Robinson; and her friends, Tracy Barret, Noëlla Boisvert and Connie Radziejewski. She is also survived by five grandsons, four great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
