With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dixie Watson of Bennington, Vermont, born in Brattleboro, Vermont, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 5, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Torrey (Dick) and Dora Flanders Torrey; and her grandparents, Harold, Louise Torrey, Arthur Flanders and Charlotte Chaffee (Flanders).

She is survived by : her children, Torrey L. King (Frank King III) and Alan D. "AJ" Watson Jr.; her grandchildren, Kayla King (Ryan) and Carter King; her brother Richard "Rich" Torrey II (Laurie); her former life partner Alan D. Watson Sr. (Dee); her cousins, Susan Bonnett (Jim), Barrett Fanning (Lois), Martin Chaffee (Lynn) and Tonya Barker (Ron); and her close friends, Ruth Goodwin and Denise Taff (Lisa Gramling).

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Family Home (180 Kings Way, Woodford, VT 05201).

In Lieu of Flowers, if you would like to make a donation in her memory, you may make a donation to help her children with her final arrangements and medical bills. Any money remaining after her expenses will be donated in her name to a charitable organization that her children will choose.
