We bid farewell to Claire Louise Williams of Bennington, Vermont, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 21, 2024 at the age of 80. Claire Louise touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Claire Louise shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Claire Louise farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Michael B. Williams (Mike) of Shaftsbury, VT; her parents, Bernard Langner and Helen Langner of North Adams, MA; and her sister Elaine Stoll of Cape Coral, FL.. She is survived by: her children, Meike Williams of Bennington, VT, Mark Williams of Brooklyn, NY and Nicole Williams of Tucson, AZ; and her granddaughters, Laura Nugent, Kathleen Coffler, Maureen Curtis and Nancy Adams.
She is grateful to the Massachusetts Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, where she participated for 2 years in studies with the hope of preventing the disease in future generations. Instead of flowers, she asked if you would please consider adopting an animal from a shelter, plant some trees, support your local NPR, Vermont Arts Exchange or just be kind to someone in need in her memory.
