It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arunas A. Budnikas (Bennington, Vermont), born in Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on August 11, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonsas Budnikas and Aleksandra Budnikas (Uzkuraitis); his siblings, Ilona and Edward; and his former wife Christine Kelhi Budnikas.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Thompson; his son Todd Budnikas (Lisa Proulx); his granddaughters, Iry and Piper Budnikas; his stepdaughters, Katie McGorman (Ryan) and Casey Ikeda (Brian); his stepgrandchildren, Hana and Kai Ikeda; his brother Peter Budnikas (Marcia); and his siblings-in-law, Monica Budnikas and Joseph Spada. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
