He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Mason and Clara Mason (Thorp). He is survived by: his former wife Elaine Witham; his wife Elaine "Sue" Mason of Barre; his stepson John Jewett of Barre; his brothers, Douglas Mason of Barre and David Wheeler of Austin, TX; and his pets, Smokey, Ebony and Ebenezer.
