We bid farewell to Sharon Lois Shatney of Barre, Vermont, born in Websterville, Vermont, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 3, 2024 at the age of 82. Sharon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Card and Olive Johnson; and her siblings, Teddi Lemieux and Jack Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Henry Baer; her children, Tammi Morgan (Lyle) of Orange, VT, Stephanie Parks (Kerry Lamphear) of Middlesex, VT, Stephen Beede (Ute) of Williamstown, VT, Robert Shatney of Barre, VT and Troy Shatney (Christina) of Campton, NH.; her grandchildren, Mason, Caleb, Alex Shatney, Amanda, Alyxzandrya Shatney, Danielle Graves and Garrett Lemieux; her great grandchildren, Alyvia Durrett and Liam Graves; and her brother Ross Card. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In her memory, donations to the Central Vermont Humane Society are welcome, honoring her lifelong love and care for animals.
