He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond W. Durgin and Blanche A. Emery (Bud); his grandparents, Grace and Harry Day; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald R. Durgin and Evelyn Tilton-Durgin.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Durgin; his children, Lisa Hodgson (Chris Temple), Tammy Carbo (Neil Carbo), Marianne Durgin-Goodrich (Matthew Goodrich), Jeffery Durgin (Rita Durgin) and Steven Durgin (Seandell Durgin); his grandchildren, Katherine Newman, Keirsten Goodrich, Joshua Carbo, Megan Goodrich, Daniel Durgin, Matthew Durgin, Aleah Goodrich and Gabriel Durgin; and his siblings, Elaine Durgin and Steve Durgin.
