He is survived by: his parents, Irl Mears and Ruth Mears (Hall); his children, Scott Mears (Elise Burton) of Barre, Susan Dukette (Steven) of St. Johnsbury and Shellie Wright (Brian) of West Danville; his daughter-in-law Ann-Marie Mears of Barre; his grandchildren, Stephanie Paquette, Nathaniel Mears, Aaron Dukette, Andrea Houlne, Ashley Mears, Brittany Mears, Dillon Mears, Connor Mears, Carmen Mears and Jack Beauparlant; his brother George Mears; and his stepsiblings, Patricia Holt Randall, Reginald Holt and Wendell Holt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
