He was predeceased by: his parents, Armand J. Dion and Yvonne M. Dion (LeClerc); his siblings, Claire Copping and Gerard; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Bessette (Dona) and Mickey Murphy.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Murphy; his children, Mark (Susan) of Johns Island, SC, N. Michael of Avalon, NJ, Matt (Dulcie) of Barre Town, MaryBeth Carey (Rick) of Barre Town and Marcia of Barre Town; his grandchildren, Megan Schreier (Halsey), Christopher Dion (Lauren), Michael Dion, Dylan Dion, Amanda Dion, Ian Carey (Mary), Taylor Carey (Cameron) and Kloey Taylor; his brother Armand Dion (Elisabeth); and his brothers-in-law, Robert Murphy (Mary) and Paul Copping.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Monica Food Shelf, 79 Summer St., Barre, VT 05641.
