He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice James and Annette McDermott Sr. (Ferguson); and his wife Madeline (Camire). He is survived by: his grandchildren, Libby McDowell, Berkeley Sadigurski (Ilya), Bentley Andruszkiewicz (AJ), Jason Hebb (Kara), Samuel Hebb (Grace), Charles Hebb (Allii), Buck Hebb, Madison Hebb, Craig McDermott (Ashley), Harrison Schroder (Sarah), Molly Schroder, Phoebe Burr, R. Elliott Burr, James Burr and Kristin Burlew; and his stepdaughters, Lyn Jones, Lori Waller, Kim Edwards, Vicky Camire and Kathy Camire. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
