He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rogers, and Dorothy Rogers, Sr.; his former wife Rena Lamoureux; and his grandsons, John Rogers IV and Christopher Rogers.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Rogers; his sons, John Rogers, III (Rachel), Jeffrey Rogers (Lisa) and James "Jim" (Ami-Lynn); his grandchildren, Benjamin Rogers (Heather), Ashley Durgin (Glenn), Danielle Rogers, Kristen Rogers, Cary Rogers (Jennifer), Marla Copeland (Kurt) and Courtney Robie Rogers; and his great grandchildren, Cayden, Levi, Gavin, Mason, Oliver, Liza, Lorali, Maverick, Molly, Alayna, Charlie, Aubrey and Khloe.
