We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2020, at the age of 98, Janice E. Zider of Barre, Vermont, born in Lynbrook, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Abrams and Jennie Abrams (Ryder); her former husband Robert E. Zider of Brooklyn, NY; and her sisters, Elsa Liebetruth of Bay Shore, NY and Esther Anzeline of South Royalton, VT..
She is survived by: her husband Fredrick C. Doscher; her children, Betsy, Janice Gifford (John) and Robert W. Zider (Lynn); her adoptive son Gary Watson (Jane); her grandchildren, Kim Gifford, John Gifford, Mark Gifford, Paul Gifford, Jennie Carnes (Zider), Betsy Moran (Zider), Christy Pearce (Zider) and Mary Zider; and also, David and Julie. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in honor of Janice may be made to the "Menig Nursing Home Resident Activities Fund," Menig Nursing Home, 215 Tom Wicker Lane, Randolph Center, VT 05061.
