She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Somaini and Luigia Somaini (Conti); her husband Laurence Lavin; and her siblings, Gino Somaini, Aldo Somaini, Rudolpho Somaini, Irvin Sironi, Rindo Sironi, Irma Coxon and Caroline Ferrari.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Lavin (Joanne) and Gary Lavin (Rena); and her grandchildren, Sherry Carr (Chuck), John LaBoudy, Sarah Rice (Diana), Karen Skoda (Justin), Natalie Soffen (Ken) and Joseph Lavin (Stephanie). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
