It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erlinda Melgarejo (Barre, Vermont), who passed away on May 16, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Teodoro Acosta and Banaag Acosta; her husband Oscar B. Melgarejo; her children, Anthony Melgarejo and Antonette Melgarejo; her siblings, Teodoro Acosta Jr., Felisa Reyes, Belina Susulin, Adoracion Tan and Lilia Acosta; and her grandson Alvin Melgarejo.
She is survived by: her children, Allan A. Melgarejo (Philippines) and Apple Ann Melgarejo Lane; her son-in-law Justin D. Lane; her grandsons, Brett and Wyatt Lane of Barre Town, VT; her siblings, Leticia Torno, Marilou Navarro, Emelita Rabiak, Yolanda Sapida and Jerry Acosta; her grandchildren, Kaila (Dave), Lovely (Ryan), Kim (Art), Gladys (Cris), Genica (Ellijah), Kyle, Mae, Keneth (Mac), Klay, Kate (Justine), Angelo and Jolina; her great grandchildren, Kacee, Dhraey, Kimi, Kairi, Ayomide, Elle, Hunter, Stellar and Kali; her friends, Flor Bilodeau and Divina Haverick; and also, Bonnie Abare and Amanda Shiverick. She is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a Celebration of Life will be held in the near future at St. Augustine's Catholic Church in Montpelier, VT as soon as large gatherings are allowed.
