He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elwin Sanborn and Eliza Jane Sanborn (McAllan); his wife Martha Sanborn of Barre; his children, James Sanborn (Lisa Edson) of Northfield, Lynda Mulcahy (Brian) of Peru, NY and Mary D'Agostino (Greg) of Barre; his stepsons, Scott Darling (Katie Thayer) of Wells River and Todd Darling (Rich Aronson) of Barre; and his brother Mayo Sanborn. He was also cherished by twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren as well as numerous nephews and cousins.
