He is survived by: his wife Leslie Chase of South Barre; his sons, Jeff, Jeffrey Newton (Shelley) of Barre Town and Scott Newton (Jennifer); his granddaughter Hayley Newton of Huntersville, NC; and his brothers, Richard Newton (Lily) of Chandler, Deane Newton of Brattleboro, VT, Brian Newton (Margie) of Randolph Center, VT and Stanley Carroll (Mary) of Essex Jct.
